Process

You can easily request a viewing yourself by pressing the green button at the top right of the home advertisement. Depending on the number of applications, we select a small group of candidates to view the property. If you do not receive a response or invitation, you are unfortunately not selected to come and view. It makes no sense to call or email for a viewing.

If you have been selected to view the property, you will receive a link from us with a date and time for the viewing. Often the viewing takes place at the current tenant, it is therefore not possible to reschedule the viewing. In the unlikely event that you are unable to attend the viewing, we kindly ask you to cancel the viewing in the appointment confirmation.

You will receive a link to your registration. In order for prospective tenants to be assigned and deemed eligible for a LIV property, we use a platform called OCKTO to ensure all personal data is collected in a safe and reliable way. OCKTO is an application that you can download on your mobile phone. OCKTO is registered with the Dutch Data Protection Authority and is supervised by the central bank of the Netherlands, De Nederlandsche Bank. We ensure you that OCKTO meets the highest security requirements and is ISO27001 certified.

With OCKTO we can better guarantee your privacy and you are in control of the transmitted data. No one but you has insight into to the data stored on your mobile phone.

For now, we ask you to check whether you have your DigiD login details at hand. It is not possible to log in to OCKTO with the DigiD app therefore it is very important you know your username and password. Please check https://www.digid.nl/inlogmethodes/sms-controle/ to ensure your SMS verification is turned on. With this website you can log in via the big orange button and allow for verification via SMS.

With OCKTO we can check the necessary data if you are employed. If you are an entrepreneur or retired then we may need additional documentation, which cannot be requested via OCKTO.

See below for an indication as to what additional documentation is required. The additional documents can be uploaded via our housing portal. We discourage the use of email to better ensure the security of your data.

Payroll

• Copy of a valid form of identification
• Copy of one payslip
• Copy of employment contract (if applicable to new job)

• Copy of a valid form of identification
• Proof of registration to the Chamber of Commerce (no older than 1 month)
• Auditor’s reports from the past two years (signed by accountant or bookkeeper)
• Income Statement (formally IB60 and IBRI)
• Copy of bank statement of business account ( no older than 1 month)
• Copy of bank card business account

When your documents have been viewed and approved, you will receive an option to rent the apartment. It is important that within 24 hours the option is accepted via the link. If this is not done in time, the property will be assigned to another candidate. When the option is accepted, the rental agreement is drawn up.

The rental agreement is signed via digital signature. When the first tenant has signed the contract, the rental agreement is automatically sent to the next tenant. When all parties have signed the rental agreement, you will receive a copy of the signed agreement in your mailbox.

After the rental agreement has been signed, the administrator will contact you to schedule the key transfer.

The first payment is not automatically debited. The rent and deposit must be paid manually otherwise you will not receive the key. The invoice with the correct bank account number can be found in Appendix 6. Please bring proof of payment to the key collection.
